Saint-Gobain India Private Limited
At Hi-Tech Polytechnic College, a Campus Placement Drive was conducted on 30.12.2025 for final-year students. The drive was organized with the participation of Saint-Gobain India Private Limited, one of the world’s leading companies in construction materials and glass manufacturing.
The Human Resource Development Officers of the company, Mr. N. Valavanarasu and Mr. J. Rishikesh, attended the event and conducted the selection process. Prior to the selection, the HR officials addressed the students and explained the company’s operations, career opportunities, and the benefits offered by the organization to selected candidates.
The event was presided over by the Principal of the College, Dr. G. Suresh Thangaraj Thomson, who provided valuable guidance and advice to the students.
As a result of the placement drive,
18 students from the Mechanical Engineering department,
13 students from the Electrical Engineering department,
3 students from the Electronics Engineering department, and
1 student from the Civil Engineering department
were selected.
The selected students who received their appointment orders were congratulated by the Chairman of the College, Er. T. Lawrence, and the Correspondent, Mrs. Helen Lawrence.

TVS 2024
A campus placement interview for third-year students was conducted on 30.01.2024 at Hi-Tech Polytechnic College, located at Samugarengapuram in Tirunelveli District. The programme was presided over by Er. T. Lawrence, Chairman of TTN Educational Group, and the campus interview was inaugurated by the College Correspondent, Mrs. Helen Lawrence.
The interview panel included Mr. J. Alex, Director (CVE & WD) of Delphi TVS, Oragadam, Chennai (a TVS Group company), along with Mr. Danny, Manager, and Mr. Rangarajan, Human Resource Development Officer, who selected the students.
The Principal of the college, Dr. Suresh Thangaraj Thomson, congratulated and appreciated the students who were selected by the company. Students from the Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering departments participated in this campus interview.
The appointment orders were handed over to the Principal by the Director of the company.
Jersey Engineering Private Limited
A campus placement interview for final-year Mechanical Engineering students was conducted on Monday, 06.01.2025, at Hi-Tech Polytechnic College. Representatives from Jersey Engineering Private Limited, Nanguneri, participated in the interview process.
Mr. Lakshmana Kumar, Director of the company, Mr. Balasubramaniyam, Project Manager, and Mr. Murugan, Human Resource Development Officer, were present and selected the students.
The final-year students Mugilan, Madankumar, Bala Nijith, and Akash were selected, and appointment orders were issued to them.
